Frank’s Paving Company, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Frank DeLeon. Frank rented a yard at Rigsby Avenue, San Antonio, TX to store all of the company’s equipment and the business was home based until 1985. Frank’s Paving Co. outgrew its Rigsby address and moved to the current location at 2072 S.E. Loop 410.
Frank’s daughter, Sandra De Leon Lopez began working with her father in 1985. Sandra has worked for Frank’s Paving Co. for over 25 years, providing support in communications, long term strategic planning, quality and productivity improvement, public relations, management, reviewing blue prints and plans, and project management.
Sandra became President of the company in 2008, making it a woman-owned small business and minority business enterprise. With the help from her husband and Vice President Ronnie Lopez the company continues to flourish and succeed in all areas of business. Although the company has grown and diversified over the years, Sandra and Ronnie take pride in maintaining the same core values that her father held true since 1972 … “We do the best job for our customers, deliver what was promised, treat people with respect, and not only deliver the ‘whole nine yards’, but” as Frank said, “We also give 1 1/2 inches of asphalt!”
Frank’s Paving Co. Inc. is so much more than paving. The company now provides a full range of construction services including paving, dirt work, excavation, commercial and location sites, base, foundation pads, generator maintenance and so much more.
In this changing economy, many competitors have been forced to close their doors, but Frank’s Paving Company continues to grow and expand the services they offer. This desire to develop and grow to meet the changing needs of our industry has allowed Frank’s Paving Company to remain a stable and reliable source for quality paving and construction services across San Antonio and South Texas.
